How binoculars work
You must have heard of a device called a telescope that helps you see far away things. Telescopes magnify a far away object and help you see it clearly. But telescopes are for objects that are very far away, like stars and planets in space. What if we want to see something that is not as far but still far enough that our eyes can't see it clearly? We use binoculars.
Binoculars are handy devices that we can carry around, for instance, when we are on an animal safari and want to see far away animals and birds clearly. What's the magic behind them? They have glass lenses inside them that bend light! Confused? Don't be! The video below explains exactly how binoculars bend light and help magnify far away objects.
